ZIT - The Technology Agency of the City of Vienna, a subsidiary of the Vienna Business Agency, was founded at the end of 2000.
The activities of ZIT encompass providing direct financial assistance (i.e. grants) to companies and technology-specific infrastructure, as well as the implementation of a broad range of accompanying measures in all phases of the innovation process.
ZIT employees evaluate the technology sector regarding trends, developments and functionality. Based on the results, measures for the support of technology-oriented companies are designed.
