Potsdam University of Applied Sciences is a young university. It was founded in 1991 and currently has around 3,000 students on 22 degree programmes. The range of subjects includes engineering, socio-cultural and design degree programmes, whose common intersections lie in the subject areas: "Communication Design and Knowledge Management", "European Building and Cultural Landscape", "Social and Cultural Shaping of Society" and "Creative Industries as a Growth Factor".
